Washington : US Chief executive Barack Barack obama has lead the group of globe commanders with 17 thousand supporters on Tweets, according to a research of the public social networking utilization by leads of govt.

According to The Scotsman, the research by US-based PR firm Burson-Marsteller looking at the rise of "Twiplomacy", Barack obama was the first major politician to fully utilize public social networking, in his 2007 strategy.

His Tweets consideration @BarackObama sent the most well-known twitter of any globe head on May 09. The consideration is rated fifth in the Twitterverse for supporters, just behing @britneyspears, according to the research.

Venezuelan Chief executive Hugo Chavez - @chavezcandanga, is the second most well-known head on Tweets, and 38 % of his twitter posts are feedback.
